Seems like a SLAP in the face for all the people who bought the S3 in September only 8 months after it was released they going to release the S4. I guess the next release will be the Note 3 and that would be in March 2013 going by Samsungs accounting. What a joke.

I tried to buy iphone 5 but they are not consumer oriented company. So many orders, only selling 8 a day. Since today i wont use apple product cause of more charges and more bureaucratic.

i just hope samsung incease the brightness of this phone cause their previous super amoled phones like the galaxy s3 and note 2's screen was not that bright at all compared with the screen brightness of HTC one x and iphone..

Your high impact Oakley and Rudy Project lenses are plastic yet better than glass. Lighter. Returns to shape after impact. High enough optical qualities. The screen protector you place on top of your glass screen is plastic. Fighter jet canopies are plastic and are used in mission critical applications. Practically anything that requires ruggedness (strength and impact resistance) turn to plastic materials. Protective casing. Otter cases. Pelicans. Vehicle bumpers. Helmets. Countless others.

Plastic screen? I don't care how easily it is broken, glass is the only material I can use for a display. It's pleasurable to touch, frictionless swiping, crystal clear transparency... I sincerely hope it's a false rumor. Gorilla Glass is more than strong enough...

Nice thought, but we'll see what shakes out. Wasn't the S3 going to be waterproof?

I'm neither a Samsung lover or hater, but, when I read "unbreakable screen", the first thing that popped in my mind were the claims of the Titanic being "unsinkable"...

If the final product does indeed make this claim, you can bet everyone and their dog will do anything within their reach to break SGS4 screens. Let's just see who is the most imaginative!
