Yes, because a dated year old Android version makes a difference. They should at at least provided 4.1.2

Must say that i were a bit surprised about this update... I guessed that LG has gon on the "World-will-end-the-22nd" theory and left it to rest. Source in up to two weeks -> Stable CM10 in 2 - 4 weeks -> MIUI (unofficial) Jan-Feb... Next (Last?) waiting begins now...

Atlast Unbelievable over a half year LG has updated Optimus 2x ICS now thanx but i had sold my LG 2x in 2011

Good thing I waited a couple months and bought a Galaxy s2 instead of the O2X. Now, I can run official jelly bean 4.1.2. :-)

i've flashed this tru xda a few days back.... i'll nvr buy another LG in the near future for they have let me suffer for far too long! my next will either be a Nexus or a top notch Samsung!

but truth b told, the ROM is really really well made! well, it doesnt have the functionality of S3 or N2 but the UI is just beautiful! my battery and heating problem from those third-party ROMs r gone! everything is functioning well, FHD recording is working and the camera takes better photos. really, the UI is just beautiful!
