LG are the very first in approaching and using latest techs, but then they are very behind updating there OS! Why don't they learn from HTC. SONY and SAMSUNG, also they should merge with Devs to support custom Roms!

Here in Holland I had the update available to ics . The update program from LG said that I should update and I thought yes. The update went smoothly. And after the reboot it was still on GB 2.3.4 with v20s. So I hope LG Holland can tell me wen it is available for dutch lg's o2x with vodafone network? But every question i ever asked to LG Holland was we don't know anything about our products.

You can manually flash V30A. I haven't tried it yet because its still downloading the 700mb file at 300kb, but I will report back if it works. My phone troll-updated to V20H here in Ireland, and I can see the V30A update on the support list but I have no idea how to install it from there.

This is a joke from LG.
I tried do update, and the installer tells me that a ics version (v30a) was available.
Ok, lets'go!

But, after the upgrade processs... wait, the version installed was the v20r ???

Now, the installer tells me that i have the v20r version installed, and there are no updates avalable...

But, where is the v30a ???

WTF LG!!!

> In reply to Bugslife @ 2012-12-08 05:02 from tD5Y - click to readbut ur iOS6 for iphone4 is half baked update since many features from actual iOS6 are missing on the iphone 4(and no its not beacause of outdated hardware or annything).only iphone 5 and i guess iphone 4s has complete features of iOS6

plus when it comes to functionality and things you can do with android, even gingerbread is better than iOS6.
since many new features on iOS6 already existed on gingerbread..some even were there on froyo.

still GB has lot of features which are yet to come on IOS

I suggest you get help and quick.

Anyway, this is typical for LG, I highly doubt things will improve with the Optimus 4X or G.

As a former 2X owner myself I'm wondering if this update will finally fix what was probably one of the most buggy and laggy phones outside of a Symbian device (because the gingerbread update did nothing to cure it)
