Android v4.2 is already available for arc/s...

Glad to see some speedy updates. Hate to see the fact Motorola only updates the phones with non-user replaceable batteries. (with Bionic being the only exception)

What's good to keep on update the phones where the batteries would be dead in 2-3 years?

I have been a true supporter of Motorola phones for over 20 years, in which I bought nothing but Motorola phones. However, I haven't purchased any Moto phones after Atrix 2, due to the non-user replaceable batteries design on all of its products.

You guys are dumb. Motorola is actually faster than Samsung and HTC in some regions including US.
Atrix, Photon, Electrify? Stop complaining. Motorola is the only brand giving you money for those old flop phones. It's all about the Razrs since the least 14 months, and they have been fast with updates. Droid Razr HD got it last week and that's faster than Verizon's GS3.
So, thanks Motorola for making great designs and powerful smartphones. And by the way, they ae already sending JB to Razr i and Atrix HD. Source? My phones.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-12-09 11:31 from IV{p - click to readCan't remember which phone exactly. But if it's not $100 it must be around $150 or something like that. They're better, especially in low-mid end market. But they loss their high end market. And logically, if the main company bankrupt than their subsidiaries will bankrupt as well. And I'm not saying about company only. We were talking about software update, and I want to say I bought Xperia Arc for about $550 when it first launched. If I bought GS2 instead, I can enjoy JB with GS3-like features (or maybe even note 2 features). I believe it'll get update at least until Android 5.0 while 2011 Xperias are stuck with ICS (not to mention that Xperia Play).

Moto keeps their promise as a promise, word to word sales talk to sales talk nothing true, i don't hate motorola after all, but after what they did about the Atrix, Photon and Electrify, I thinks it's a no no to buy again a product came from motorola, i can't blame others people thought this is my experience, this is my opinion this is my comment. nothing personal

See sonys arent loosing money. Gsmarena is slow they will take 3rd position in 2013 . I have read this. Arc s is a single core phone but see how crap the design of ssmsung pgones are and display too. Boring samsung ui. Xperia s is a great devicxe. Clean ur mind. Xperia s is a unique device and most of my friend who own s3, s2 and nite will buy sony phone next time. Sony is niw ahead of htc in shipments in many countries.

> In reply to Jeanandroidfan @ 2012-12-08 21:18 from MDVw - click to readSony is the best? their revenue are going down since the last 4 years. And now, they're just 1 step to bankruptcy. Open your eyes! I was using Xperia Arc before switching to GS3. It's great, but nothing in comparison to GS2. Now this year, Xperia S? Really man? Is that their 'weapon' to compete with Samsung, Apple? That phone is NOTHING in comparison to the One X, GS3, iP5. Granted that One X didn't manage to sell as well as it expected but it's mostly due to the wrong marketing strategy, as the phone itself, it's fantastic. And also don't forget that Samsung is also updating all their phones to JELLY BEAN, including those $100 phones.

This phone worked well with gb but with ics is just retarded. I feel like throwing it against the wall. I ll never buy a sony product ever again.
