Even optimus 2x with same tegra 2 but older still got ics. My opinion, samsung still best on update, but i dont like their crap plastic design, truly winner for software upgrade is iphone...

All are new devices while old devices like my atrix and xoom3g stuck. Typical google. They must lear from ios for software upgrade. My 2years+ iphone 4 still eligible update to ios 6. Shame on google

motorola is really the best in updates as well as google and samsung now and hopefully sony will follow as sony was the only one to offer for all xperia 2011 phones ics in april and their updates will get a lot of bug fixes so stable performance is sure in sony products ! son yis the only one to give and make ics/jellybean to very cheap phones and make them with very very good hardware ( sony ericsson xperia mini / mini pro / live with walkman / xperia pro / xperia ray) and is really the best oem for devs especially also after AOSP software in jellybean for xperia s!

Motorola have yet again let their UK customers down. Only recently at the RAZRi launch Motorola PROMISED a Jelly Bean update THIS YEAR. Now it's Q1 2013?!! I have a RAZRi which I have 14 days to evaluate. I think I'll now return it, as Motorola just can't be trusted. Pathetic.

"The PHOTON Q, ELECTRIFY 2, DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX, DROID 4, DROID BIONIC will be updated to Jelly Bean at an unspecified date"

TRANSLATION:

these devices have the hardware for jelly bean but we want to sell our new devices so we'll provide the update a year later or when android 5.0(key lime pie) gets outdated. Also we dont want to disappoint users by not giving updates since they are threatening us by comments like...LG never again or in this case,Motorola never again
