This device will make the diference between a true Smartphone and... phone. I know that RIM was in the wrong way, making just the same Smartphones with the same hardware and software. Now, with this all new BlackBerry, we're going to see the golden days of BlackBerry and RIM again. I'm waiting for this mobile and for the BlackForest (a PlayBook with a 10" screen) to come out in 2013. -Sorry, i'm not an english native-

I am so excited for this one, for those who does not know. BB network is the best with regards to sending and receiving emails, we've been using this for quite sometime and it never fails. Compare to iPhone's network its very incomparable, but for those who only want somebody to know they have an iphone..it sucks! but i love my ipod touch 5th gen, not the phone version.

> In reply to MCRL @ 2012-12-11 18:05 from v0qT - click to readSo blackberry is one of the safest platftorms...nothing new about that. I want to see the thing against its competitors, but all we get is tease after tease. RIM is competing against juggernauts as the HTC droid DNA, the HTC butterfly, the galaxy S3, The iphone 5,The note 2, etc, etc, etc. Taking this long to unveal the damn thing was a bad move, missing the christmas shopping season and pitting it against next years flagships(so we already know what to expect from them) with what?

> In reply to Joker @ 2012-12-11 12:33 from QJqc - click to readYear 2012 is topped by galaxy s 3, I don't see any other phone surpassing it. Year 2013 is far away, a lot is coming, as is the trend set by all of the companies. We the consumers are injected with a non ending lust of getting higher and higher specs phone, so that every company can get the most(profit) out of us. By the end of 2013 there would hardly be any body remembering galaxy s 3 or iphone5 or HTC DNA. Wake Up guys..!!

FIPS 140-2 certification. Do some research and you'll know what I mean.
