All those ports and a huge touchscreen - BB is going Android without literally going Android. Good for them, a little true competition never hurts the customer. I spell nothing but win for this beast provided it will support at least the major Play Store apps.

Blackberry will be in competition mostly with Apple, because they both intend to sell 'status' phones by offering less for more money. Only Nokia wp8 is the king in the camp of 'restricted' OSs, not only better and cheaper, but innovative and with more options.
However many thanks to Android for making people understand the real value of those overpriced 'status' craps, their era is over.

This new BlackBerry looks like iPhone which is great because they're trying to get rid of the old boring design..NICE TRY BLACKBERRY but they shouldn't stick with BlackBerry OS..they should use android on one of their phones..that will be great if they do it

This looks promising.
So far RIM has brought too little too late to the market, and this can't get out soon enough.
As others have said, this won't kill iPhone or Android because their (RIM's) market is different.
Would be interesting to see how this stacks up against WP8 - who would be their closest competitor.
