Damn, was so eager for this phone to get released and now they announce it doesn't have sdcard support. Guess I'll have to extend my wait for buying a new phone for another 2-3 months.

> In reply to bongers @ 2012-12-12 11:43 from KgVf - click to readhow hard is it to squeeze in an sd slot to at least add another 32 gb of storage? stupid marketing strategy. data rates are so pricey in the ph so most people go prepaid. sd lots shd be standard for smart phones. if this phone is less than P5000 ($100), maybe i'll buy it.

In many countries, using cloud storage via exorbitant data rates courtesy of greedy mobile service providers, is never a practical choice.
In these countries, You will find that your paying much more for data rates than your electricity and water bills.
So no, I cant see why these manufacturers are forcing us into
not having sd slots.

"The Find 5 will be sold in 16GB and 32GB capacities, priced at 2,998 Chinese yuan (about US$475) and 3,298 Chinese yuan (about US$523). Oh, those prices are non-contract prices."

i'm expecting all these 5"-1080p-2 GB RAM-quad-core-13 MPx-phablets to be cheap because, well, they all are the same and they'll HAVE TO lower their price to be best sellers.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-12-12 11:30 from mjPY - click to readHTC is doing the same.

HTC preferred we use cloud so they can slim manufacturing.
HTC One X sales showed we like the idea and didn't want microSD cards.

And it's great Nexus is following the trend HTC started. About getting costs low for manufacturing and helping HTC out.

We should all be using cloud storage anyway.

This is great news, and I hope it saves oppo money in RAM, most uses wouldn't mind paying as if had 32GB anyway as the screen is more than worth it.
It's like helping out oppo as screen yields could be low so that's ok
