"even LTE connectivity"

Yota is Russia's largest LTE operator. Works in LTE 2600.
If you remember little back to time - they were first to offer 4G smartphone. It was HTC MAX 4G for WiMax. Since then Yota switched to LTE and merged with Megafon.

now that is a good energy saving, it would be good to have a setup to shut down the LCD completly when juice drops below cca 15-20 %

This looks really promising....im looking forward to buy it once it comes out. Hopefully it would become available globally and not just in Russia or the US.

Let me guess then, the battery is non-removable? Still, pretty good.

about 5-6 years ago, i've dreamed of a flip phone with LCD screen for its internal display and an E-ink screen for its external display (since E-ink has low power consumption, so i guess it's possible to save battery life).

it's glad to know that someone has the same idea and able to apply it to real product.
