> In reply to Tijs @ 2008-06-09 21:53 from LJDr - click to readputting xenon flashes in phones is very taxing on the battery life of the phone furthermore the capacitors required to generate the voltage for the xenon flash are relatively large and thus the phone's dimensions would need to be tweaked to fit it...xenon cant be used for video recording and lastly due to the way xenon flashes are made, unless certain precautions are taken to prevent any short circuitry becuz of the high voltage needed by the xenon flash, the entire phone could be fried and the you the user electrocuted :-| not badly tho :-P but ur phone would be screwed

LED Flash
Specs unclear if office viewer or pocket office

So take care that the phone has what you really expect

I see it actually has Shozu running on it. Well if someone is testing a i900 with Shozu, I might have to check this out myself!

it's ALMOST perfect! but whyyyyy 65k colors? and why do the they include amazing cameras but led flashes???!!! why don't they put a xenon flash on ? is it really that hard?

Great device but there is one handicap which is ms windows.
It should have LiNuX os or any other e.g Symbian etc.

Samsung always impress with the looks of there mobiles but its the software an functions they need to sort out to really impress me an all the others who have experienced using there mobiles,o.k the touch screen mobiles have bigger screens but your wiping the screen all the time,an another thing you will have to watch out for on Samsung mobiles is the lcd screens they are to expensive to repair they cost to much to buy

This is vey good phone.nice very high memory 16gb + 8 till 16gb memory card this is very good than n96 but one bad thing is that it has vey low resolution only 65k colors this is very bad.

look at one of the pics which shows the menu, bow i know that the image qualty is crap its got lateral lines but look at the folder icon or even the fm radio icon or even the bell icon.....look can clearly see ridges along the edges......now before some fanboy quates me o watever and says its cause the images quality of the photo is crap, thats no excuise for a crap res on their...'Major Flagship....'Iphone Killer'.....or watever

Great phone, does it have you tube, app store access, safari browser ?
If it has apple easy to use software I will go for it !

This phone looks SICK!

I was reading http://samsungomnia.org but couldn't find anything about whether it will be released in the USA? I know it will start in Asia and then spread to Europe... but do us Americans get left in the dust again?
