Samsung i900 Omnia announced, live pics inside - read the full textThe highly rumored Samsung i900 is finally unveiled by Samsung. Called Samsung i900 Omnia, this Windows Mobile PocketPC seems as a strong competitor...

Nice hardware, a shame about the software! (and the screen). 400x240 is basically just a wide-screen QVGA. That's so few pixels that you can guess that web browsing will be crap - and that suspicion is confirmed by the presence of MS Pocket Internet Explorer, the worst browser in existence. Anyone who's ever tried Apple's Mobile Safari will know just how bad PIE is in comparison. C'mon Samsung, you could have at least put Opera Mobile on the thing! Otherwise, why bother with HSDPA?

i dun need any more than this. this is perfect ph for me. someone said samsung is not trustable, and that's ridiculus. It's true 5 years ago but not now. I have try many nokia , SE and samsung phs. samsung proved to be most stable. But batt is the weakest. But this i900 equipped with 1500mA batt. thats impressive. This ph is better than HTC diamond or touch pro bcoz of sweet camera.

Samsungs are extremely reliable and have a sense of style atleast! I bought my phone in 2006 Samsung E900 and it is working great! I might consider this one!

Ok its time to clear some things up. In Australia Samsung have half the fault rates of Nokia. Nokia announce 3 new phones to Samsungs every 1. This phone has incredible features for such a small stylish handset and is certainly an interesting phone. It is not an iphone clone, as it has far superior features, though lacks the iPhones most important component, mac OS. Until WM becomes similar or better than mac os there will be no direct competition for the iphone.

I agree with all the comments here, too many handsets too quick, iphone clones, and samsung not reliable. Its just a big joke, i aint buying anything.

theres always atleast 3 'samsung's on GSMarenas front page, i remember once their were 4 reviews and a news article, people say nokia produce millions of phones every other day, but man samsung just keep bringing phones in every dam class, symbain, their own touch os with the wigets and all, wm, and their own os for non smart phones....samsung chill man relax brining out phones which are meant to be successors but are a totally new phones just kills the old phones, man look what happened to the G800, thats was the best slider ever made man, in my opinion, but its forgotten even before it could become a best seller cause of the G810 that was just thrown out with a weird metal case.......man i thought the , N95 than N95 8GB than N82 and than N82 black and N78 and now N96 was tight enough just to survive but this, this is way deeper, chill guys.....

Great looking phone, but does Samsung know how to match colours properly? They should've at least had a white or black startbar theme instead of ugly bronze (doesn't match XD)
