I posted a comment this morning stating what a problematic and unworthy phone the Samsung Omnia is and I've never seen criticsm disappear so quickly. The nice, positive comments about the phone stay, the rest are wiped out. I wonder why

I'm always in the market for something new and was bowled over by this phones promise. It was the worst decision I ever made. It is the most cumbersome phone you can find. SMSsing is not user-friendly. There's too much going on in the phone, you can be busy with one feature and another cuts in - most annoying. Almost impossible to delete voice message when you want to and while listening to them. I could go on and on. I thought at first it was growing pains, but I'm now into my second month of the phone and am about to give up, return to my old-faithful non-Samsung and throw this Omnia in the rubbish bin where it belongs.

> In reply to JW @ 2008-11-02 13:53 from nCby - click to readI believe the European version is able to work with European 3G signal, but only 2 or 2.5G in North America. It's the opposite for the North American version, naturally.

> In reply to Omnia Freak @ 2008-11-08 05:58 from Ui$d - click to readYeah, so if I had a flip phone. That's entirely button based. Once the buttons fail, the entire phone is useless. See why your point makes no sense?

Omnia is a fully touch screen phone. This means once the touch screen fails the entire phone will be useless. So, buyer beware

Im interested in buying it here in Dubai. However, i will be going back to Canada soon and i need to know if it would work there. They say it is quad band which shoudl work but then i hear things saying that there is 2 versions, a europe one and an american one. So i dunno if i should buy it unless it works in north america as well. Can anyone tell me if it will work there and if i can use all the features while im there????

I realised that whenever i install 3rd party apps. and those are required to be installed in the device memory, it will install in the device memory's storage, but not program memory. is there anyway to install them in program memory? because the device storage have very little space. I have 3.14mb storage memory and 48.92MB storage memory left in the device.

Thanks to http://www.Samsung-Omnia.org it answers a lot of my questions.
