> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-12-15 07:23 from IWY} - click to readthat comment is right for those who generalise. but until now, i see a lot of people thinking of buying a laptop even if they don't need the mobility. later on they wld realize they need the power of the gadget instead of the "convenience" of mobility. some of them still justify why they made that decision, even if they really crave for a more powerful device. it may not be stupid at first just ignorance. i think one of the main problems is trying to gain status symbol. and that is stupid. some people want a laptop so they can show people at cafes that they are well off. (but they only buy 1 cup of coffee and stay there for hours) social climbing, that's stupid.

As usual, Apple just copied another company designs and call them "Re-invent".
Unlike the other Judge Lucy koh and her jury, this time round Judge Sue L. Robinson and his jury has "Laser Sharp" eyes and thinking, does not foolded by Apple deceiving moves.

> In reply to TheNeighbor @ 2012-12-15 06:58 from t7M5 - click to readSports car users also spend extra money for cars that have no cup holders, or baby car seats. Doesn't mean they are stupid. Just because you don't need a feature, doesn't mean IT IS inferior.
Desktop users used to call people who bought laptops in the 90s as stupid, as they sacrificed performance. Look at the world today, and it is no longer the case. They couldn't understand that people bought laptops because of a prioritizing of mobility over performance. Android users show the same myopic thinking today, as the desktop fanboys of yesterday.
Think. Read. Useful activities for Android fanboys.

> In reply to TheNeighbor @ 2012-12-15 07:03 from t7M5 - click to readMarketshare is certainly a good factor to have, but it isn't always the ONLY factor to consider, or else you would say Toyotas are better than Rolls Royces.
Profit is another aspect to consider when determining company health for example, and though Apple's marketshare is only one quarter, it holds more than 3/4ths of smartphone industry profits.
If you were a smartphone company, which position would you rather have? It depends doesn't it?

These patents war should really stop. Apple pioneered the mobile patent war, and it should ideally end with Apple. Its taking up alot of $$$, which can be better utilized in development of better products.

See how silly things have been escalating worn these patents? All this time, Apple was using systems they stole from others, and had the audacity to call others copycats.
