It maybe a mediatek quad core CPU. Last week there were rumours of Sony using Mediatek's cheap quad core processor in their 2013 mid rangers. There's no way a dual core can score 16000+ when it is not even in final phase to be available.

Do we actually need that 1.7gigz... No we don't instead to make it more powerful.. Innovation should be introduced like transparent screen.. Or the upcoming samsung's rumoured flexible disp. In s4 or later phone...

As i have seen previously in sony politics, would say that´s the same S3 of the Xperia SL, since there´s no S4 with such clock speed . . . But, Who knows for sure? We will have to wait & see. . .

1.7 dual its mostly Exynos 5 same as the one in Nexus 10

I heard this will be a midrange quad core, probably a cortex A7 quad, but I don't know what score to expect from A7 and 1.7ghz seems a bit high for a budget quad. I have to lean against S4 Plus as well but I'm not yet discarding the budget quad rumor.
