Here is some good news for the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note loyal users. The Jelly Bean update is coming as soon as early January.
As indicated by the leaked test ROM, both devices will skip the initial Jelly Bean 4.1.1 release and move straight to the 4.1.2.

I totally agree that the build quality and advanced technology that Samsung put in their mobiles and much before their competitors, is something which I admire and why I keep buying Samsung mobiles and why I currently am the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy NOTE 2. In my opinion, the only thing that Samsung needs to do, to be unbeatable, is to invest more in support, which seems to be hapening with the Galaxy series. KEEP IT UP SAMSUNG !!!

This is great the gs2 is getting jb 4.1.2 update I just can't wait for jb which will bring note 2 features to gs2.

yea yea... been hearing it since october on the jb update...first it was announced to b ready by nov end..then came dec 2nd week...later,another pulling onto dec end..

look at sony.their early 2012 flagship, the xperia s 'll be getting jb late april,and samsung z updating their 2011 flagship a lot earlier.
smack in the face of those who still complain about samsung update policy.

Yeah!!!!!!!! I won't buy a new phone anytime soon, not with that awesome support. But regardless my next phone, is very likely to be a Samsung! If I know my phone can hold for more than a year and still be relevant, that's huge value.

I knew it, thank god I passed the crappy designs of S3/Note 2 and stayed with the lovely S2 until next year when S4 gets realeased.
Now where are those who laughed at me and said "you'll wait for JB on S2 forever"! :D
No more custom JB roms and their force-close problems.
