i think xperia sola will be lagging if it is given jelly bean update...so better use ics...and the other thing is!
sony has not planned well in making their smart phones its very confusing...the xperia j has all the options but its shape is not proffesional..sola is a few bucks more but it dosent have a front cam and gorilla glass..but its professional nice....sony please fire the makers of xperia...

> In reply to Rasmus @ 2013-01-23 18:39 from 6pbD - click to readI believe you mean android 2.3 gingerbread not 3.1 honeycomb. U have an arc s and am still on gingerbread as reviews for the ics update say it hasn't been properly optimized so makes te phone laggy. Not sure whether to update or not, still I do want jelly bean to come to the xperia arc s as it is more than capable or atleast for Sony to improve the ics Rom to make it less laggy.

why isn't the arc s getting jelly bean! if the xperia j can run it then why can't the arc s run it, the arc s also has 512mb ram and has a faster 1.4ghz processor compared to the j's 1ghz processor. come on sony!

Until now I was about to buy a sony xperia sola but then i read that it won't get the JB update. Sony is pathetic at updates and seems to like to f*** with it's costumers. Until now i loved Sony's brand but now I hate it and proppably gonna never buy a sony phone ever. (until it launches the JB update for Sola)which is proppably never gonna happen.

In fact, Xperia P and Xperia U are both using the same Chip-set, CPU and GPU, which are NovaThor U8500/ Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 / Mali-400.
So what's the point for Xperia U not getting the JB update?
