why xperia neo l not because it's first ics smartphone from sony. at least give one update Sony. every Sony phone is getting one update consider the xperia u,p,s,sola, ion,j etc just making people fool by buying neo l.I should have gone for the Samsung galaxy s Advance which I think now it is much better than the Xperias ,I thought that Sony is known for its class but this class proved me costly,so I am going to sell this phone after my exams and I will buy the s advance or s3 mini atleast these are on jellybean and I will not buy any Sony phones untill yuga or Odin released

Sony Xperia T is the James Bond Phone, not Xperia TX.
James Bond is an artificial character whose used the Xperia T in the last movie, obviously because Sony paid them, not because of how great the phone is.
I am wondering well you still love Sony if they let your Xperia TX taking Key lime pie (Android 5)update after a year away from Nexus getting it, what a power Sony has. They already didn't give you JB update out of the box.

I don't even expect JB update for my Sola cuz' he already looks EXHAUSTED in ICS ROM. It's at MINT class, not GREAT class. ICS ROM always takes over 50% of RAM. I think JB update will cause more lags and more experiences of shortage of RAM at my Sola. So Sony, plz do something for those errors and backdoors and lags in ICS.

Sorry but SGS has the same spec of NS, not NO. Also, Arc S, which already ate ICS, has the same spec of SGS+, which did not received the ICS update. You have to understand that Sony is trying really hard to satisfy all customers at updating part, not like LG or Samsung. Those companies never cares about customers not using flagships.

Reply to Sony: "After much consideration, because user experience is at the heart of my decisions, I have found the need to look elsewhere other than Sony. Why? Because not only you don't effin update your phones but you also feel the need to glorify this bad behavior as enhanced user experience".
Sony, if you do not know how to make phones which last more than a year worth of updates without "sacrificing user experience" then please, stop making excuses and move on to some other business within the "consumables" industries.

Custom roms are not 100% stable, often comes with bugs, thats why official updates are still the best

> In reply to Dinesh @ 2012-12-18 15:26 from XNtX - click to readGalaxy S is Nexus One level, which also doesn't get ICS. At least Samsung maximizes the software level of their flagship. Arc S was Sony's flagship that is same level as Nexus S, hence it should get up to JB 4.1.2 instead of stuck on ICS.

Xperia sola is nt getting JB due to lower amt of Ram
Project butter will not be working, but they should alter OS such that at least Google Now can work over these devices or we are dependent on xda developers.

Hello guys, why are you worrying about the official update.I am running cyanogenmod 10 (4.1.2)jb in my xperia mini st15i. Its working fine. Its just fine. The steps for unlocking and rooting are also easy. Do it and enjoy your 2011 line ups.! Don't get angry be cool. They are all manufacturers.they look for profit. They want to sell more models. Understand!
