This trend occurs because more and more people are getting smart phones.

And most of them would get android or ios as recommended by family or friends, as they are most talk about and easy to get support and accessories from.

When you try to buy lumia series, you can hardly find any screen protectors/casing or accessories that works with it..

It might be good built, but sadly not popular among casual users.

what go up will come down. No brand is leader forever. Wonder how long will Samsung last?

The only brand that is market leader is Windows OS for your desktop PC and laptop, which will remain largest market share now and FOREVER.

So there are people who think that cariers only store samsung phones and no one want to buy it. Wonder if those cariers are too stupid while none buy it and they still order from samsung more and more or just those people are stupid?

Samsung: What should we do for a new phone this year? I know! Just put a bigger screen and a faster CPU and we'll call it a day.

You call this innovation? No, this is call running out of ideas because they have to copy other peoples ideas as they are such incapable of being original. Samsung is just waiting to copy "the next big thing" from others. Again.

Nova Launcher Prime has multiple customizable gesture controls so I can keep my main screen with just a clock, toggling out the top and bottom bars.

Samsung also counted 30 million phones sold, but sold to suppliers. Not actually in customers hands. What a bunch of fools, they want to show off their numbers. Disgraceful company.

Htc good at build quality, Samsung good at performence, sony good with camera, Motorola good with battery, Nokia good with maps, Lg good with square design lol and IPhone good with iOS. Everyone's not same.

> In reply to jbpianist28 @ 2012-12-19 23:39 from X3tk - click to readLOL noooooo... google search best smartphone award, only samsung will come up. You can't burst bubbles with inaccurate statements. On top of that, awards don't determine as much as numbers. Look at the numbers. But the S3, overall, is a better phone in my opinion, because it has equal or better hardware, and can do a lot more app and storage-wise...

I appreciate the smooth UI and nothing else about WP. I too am waiting for a fully Windows ecosystem but Microsoft WP producers aren't getting it right and fast enough.

Sad to see that Motorola is not in the chart. Motorola builds the best build quality mobile phones in the market. Once have a look at Razr i, Razr HD etc.
