Samsung USA's official website revealed an upcoming Galaxy Note II Developer Edition for Verizon. As you've probably guessed this is a version with unlocked bootloader, but otherwise identical to the regular version, which has been available for a while now.
The Galaxy Note II Developer Edition isn’t yet available, but it should hit Verizon's stores soon. It’s quite likely though the phone won’t be available on contract and you'll have to pay its full price.
In case you already own a Verizon Galaxy Note II and you want to enjoy the goodies of an unlocked bootloader without buying this special edition, there is still a way. Just head over to the XDA forum for the tools and instructions.

> In reply to dung4 @ 2012-12-21 02:52 from KiVP - click to readYes. Since i bought samsung android phones, i have no more excuse to root or unlock it. It works out of the box.. no need different launchers .. all customization build in .. like display battery percentage.. disable lock screen .. etc etc..
if you think touchwiz is bad ... try laggy sense or motoblur ..
