Since the launch of this phone I consider 5.5 in to be too small as my next phone

I think the Note II with its 5.5" is the max size for a phone to carry around. It can fit in your pocket easily (at least for me)and it gives all the benefit of a larger screen. But, a 6.1" in my opinion is too damn big... It is convenient to carry one this big at all. What is the point of having a phone if what you are looking for is a tablet? Just buy a tablet...

I bet it we will all soon be carrying 6" phones and the term "phablet" will go into oblivion. Its just a matter of time.

Apple is making a big mistake in thinking that people want to use only one hand to type on the smartphone. Even Iphone 5 is clumsy with one hand. Using two thumbs to type is the best. Smartphone is not a notebook.

Huawei isn't getting it. The most important concept Samsung has done with the first Galaxy Note was that of an A6 notebook (like Moleskine notebook), integrated with a Wacom active stylus pen. I remember being excited with what that meant I was able to use it - sketching/drawing to communicate ideas, concepts and do art. The size was similar in proportion, powerful, intuitive, thin and meant you could easily carry out in your top shirt pocket.
Samsung slightly forgot about that great concept, and came out with the more powerful Note II, which resembles the Galaxy S III. The ratio of the screen is more for movie viewing.
It's still the S Pen features that was the emphasis of of the Galaxy Note series. Having a big screen only is not much.

If you don't like this device don't buy it.... The beauty of Android is the unlimited options and this fills a hole between 5.5 inches and 7 inches.
I have a note 2 but could handle 6 inches with narrower bezels.

Its obvious you genius. Its faster to type using two thumbs. Who cares if you can use it comfortably with one thumb or not. Most people are not patient enough to type one handed on any screen size. That being said, if this HUGE smartphone does not have more software features to at least make up for being bigger than the note 2, then it might not sell well.
