I wish them all the best but I don't think that those devices are going to sell.

The build quality is utterly disgraceful and the only people that buy these phones anymore are school children that don't seem to understand how terrible they are.
White screens, permacrashes, broken scrollpads, battery leakes that set of the phones litmus waterdamage indicators... seriously, nothing breaks as much as blackberries.

as an indonesian, i'll try to give my best answer
first, i do not use blackberry and i do not like blackberry. I think it is outdated, slow, and it's small screen hurts my eyes.
We, Indonesian uses blackberry solely because of it's BBM service. Indonesian likes to chat especially when it doesn't cost us a lot (BBM runs on internet, not charged like SMS). We can chat in groups, share photos, etc. Business and office stuffs often done via BBM.
Other chat services, like whatsapp or line, come later. We already have BBM, so why should we use another chat service.
But we are aware that blackberry is not a good device. It only relies on its BBM service. Other phones like samsung galaxies or iphones look more appealing. So nowadays you can see many indonesian (who can afford it) have 2 or more cell phones. One is their blackberry as main device, and the other is either android or iphone for entertainment.
We are already attached to BBM, because we use it at work and business, not only for chatting. Switching to other chatting service is unlikely. But some of blackberyy users also have whatsapp in their phone.

is this design call innovative?
so square.... just a pencil and paper can draw it out.
So.. BBM 10 can finally support ANDROID APPS?

> In reply to MasEnha @ 2012-12-27 07:43 from 9xx6 - click to readHonestly, regardless whatsapp hasn't had comment on photo feature like bbm, I really confuse with most Indonesian. Why do they still prefer to use a low quality phone at expensive price. I mean at the same price, you can get other Android device much much better, both hardware and software...

"The other one, the BlackBerry Z10, has a full touchscreen display but lacks the plastic strips at the top and bottom like the ones we saw on the L-Series device earlier."
It doesn't lack the plastic strips they just haven't been caught with the camera.. pretty sure it's the same device..
