Nobody needs a 5-inch phone screen. That's what tablets are for. Samsung don't know how to innovate. They don't bring anything new to the table. All they know is increase the screen size, increase the resolution and add more processor cores. Only Nokia and Apple are the real innovators.

Why would they made it a phablet if they already have the Notes? That means Note 3 will have around 6".

Samsung are in multiple markets with different price points

SIII was rumoured to come in a s Pen version, it turned out to be false.

And lets face it, if S IV comes with a pen, then they would kill the market for Note, and thus probably ending upp with less in total sales.

Besides, I dont think the S IV, if compatible with S-Pen, would have it integrated in the body, it would most likely be optional.

But I would love a 5" phatblet, with pen, especially with WP8 and some version of OneNote compatible with the desktop version.
With those upcoming 7" tablets with Windows (most likely RT), one of those, or rather 7.7, and one high resolution 12-14 incher running full windows, that could be the perfect trinity for me, the .
A phone that is allways with me.
Small tablet to replace the paper notebook that I carry with me quite a lot.
And a big tablet to moste use at home, but with processing power to do some image processing or as a mobile music production kit.

Woahhh! An S-pen and a 5" display?! That's sooo innovative, Sansunk! So cool! And I guess a free trailer to carry it around when going out for a run.:)

there is no way the S4 is gonna have an S pen, it would defy the purpose of the Note, it would never match the sales numbers of the S4+Note3 combo, only a person with a single digit IQ would hope for an S pen with the S4

Why why why are manufacturers obsessed with hummer sized phones!! I hate the size of by HOX now and that's only 4.7 inches! Other than the iPhone there is no choice for smaller screens with high specs which is sad
