Shut up samsung fans ! lets give the boy a chance..
Yes dear u cant change the screen in note2 u've seen and used i faced that too u cant just change the screen its the same always.. So what u have to do is to go n buy a galaxy note2 n download them all , cut the screen portion and put ur photo there and upload them back..,
now you've changed the screen on all the note2 u've "SEEN" and "USED"..
Wake up crapple fanboy.
And about AMOLED display..
Either its a amoled or incandescent they dont degrade so quickly as you said(even the samsung fans).. If they are made on original design and components it would take hundreds of years to have them degraded.. And till them whose DIK the manufacturers gonna SUK ? (like till year 2413 ).
Its just the same tactic behind making a light bulb worth only 1000 switch ons.. I think now u got ur answers , 4inch display iphone4 users !!

First check the no of background CRapps u r running on ur note2.
Its because of guys like this , those apl ip fans trol over these magnificent devices like note2 lumia920 and s3.
If you try to run the same no of apps on a 'laggy' note2 or a lumia920 it would easily rip off 3 ip5's in a second.
So however u deny AJB n WP8 are the smoothest os on the planet.
If u still dont like them them u can go n buy a 4 inch screened iphone4 (its officially called iphone5) !!

Strange that a perfect genius like you can mistake the year, GN2 and ip5 are both last years products.

Im going to switch over to lumia 920 as my main phone due to bugs here and there, force closes and occasional lag in my note2. I find microsoft os to be just more reliable and stable than any other os in the market currently. I was using lumia 800 before (now wife) and love its ease of use and flawless UI. This doesnt mean I'll be abandoning my note2 soon, sure it is going to stay with me as a secondary phone (or tablet?) for my business needs.
PS - I use bluetooth keyboard & mouse with my note2 with a kickstand cover in the back. Super useful when I have to chat or surf on the go (something I can not do from my main pc box being freelance working online). This is something I could not get to work with my lumia 800 at all. (not sure about 920 though). Love my note2 for capabilities like these.

I m using SGN2 and SONY XPERIA. Believe me xperia is better thn note 2. Specially in terms of screen and camera. Even HTC phones are better thn samsung. Samsung only giving lots of apps with their phones. Nothing special....but the real quality comes with sony, HTC, apple. Samsung just have good marketing strategy nothing else....

> In reply to PoLiTiX @ 2012-12-31 17:46 from wr6C - click to readmaybe you've tested 3 faulty note 2, how unlucky of you.
note 2 is by far the best bug free, lag free, fastest UNrooted android phone to date. S3 still lag IMO, unless rooted and custom ROMed.
for on the job usage of camera, the micro mode in note 2 is way way better then the iPhone 4, 4S and 5.
if you dislike samsung you can try lg nexus 4 or oppo find 5...
but i doubt i will be good enough for you,
conclusion... you are an iFans.

Here is what I don't like about the Tmobile Note II:
1. When you wake up the phone from sleep there is a noticeable delay.
2. After you hang up the phone, there is a delay of about 3-4 seconds before you are brought back to the dialer.. Until then you're just shown the "Call ended.." message. Thats quite annoying because you have to wait another 3-4 seconds before re-dialing.
3. MTP.. I have never gotten it to work on this phone. After downloading the official Galaxy Note II drivers from samsungs website all I ever get is "Hardware missing" or something like that. I really miss the plain old USB Mass Storage.
4. When you bring the phone to your ear the screen turns black, (thats good), but after you take it back down to see the screen, there's a gap of about 2 seconds before it turns back on. very annoying.

I have had this phone for 2-3 months now and it is simply BRILLIANT.
It has a great battery life, is really quick and smooth and the screen is amazing... (all other screens look average in comparison)
The best thing is it easily fits in my pocket and is with me at all times.
At the moment this is the beat phone available.
