samsung doesn't care, they are busy trying to meet supply needs for their own devices. and apple is a greedy whore, they want everything for free. tsmc will go bankrupt being raped by apple.

Didn't TSMC tell Apple a few months ago to take their money elsewhere when Apple proposed TSMC shift volume production in their favor, away from AMD and nVidia? Why are they courting Apple now?

did someone search what company is it the TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. ???
go and look on internet....

with samsung making chips and other components in the states now, samsung is 10x more american than apple.
in any case apple is a buyeer who wants to pay next to nothing.

The most pertinent lesson from the whole saga is that Apple is a fiercely litigious company that wouldn't hesitate to 'go thermonuclear' on even their own suppliers.

Those who conduct business with Apple are ill-advised, and do so at their own peril.

TSMC, i don't think they could meet Apples requirements, they can barely keep up with AMD's and Nvidias demands let alone another competitor.

Apple design and patented the A6X chips its like I design my own bike from scratch and after that I hire a professional welder to assemble it.

as if samsung cares about the plans of apple. Samsung semiconductor and display will be very busy supplying all galaxy S series, galaxy note and galaxy tabs. So long apple and take care!

Apple switch its chips manufacturer to TSMC, then Samsung buy and owned most of TSMC public shares. Win-win solution for me. It's all business so stop this fanboy crap.

that's why nowaday iphone 5 facing lot of issue, due apple didn't had enough experience in build powerful processor.If apple produce quad cores, should be burn ur device for sure.
