It does not have xenon flash, phone has led flash.

Led flash - taking pictures and video recording
Xenon - just for pictures. ( but better then Led )

Here is the catch why they are puting LED flash in phones. You can not use Xenon for recording.

And what on earth is "senior" about being above 40? A lot of the most serious hi end users are 35 to 55 years old. I dont know where you live but where i come from 40 is a young man.

I just have one question where is the flash you'll think a phone with a 13mp camera have a flash so disappointing. But at the end of the day I still love sony

Sony's design always better and reliable as compare with Samsung.
Feel Samsung products over boots , over rate and bad design.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-05 03:50 from JpdL - click to readHaha! I agree HTC is one of the companies that have the best looking designs on their phones but Samsung??? Where the hell did you get the idea of them designing plastics? haha! Not even releasing light aluminum materials instead, they are brushing up plastics with aluminum colors for their phones to look like a high end phone with premium feel unlike Sony, Moto, HTC and Apple! Samsung is a great company when it comes to the performance of their phones but definitely not the best designers. ;-P

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-05 03:42 from JpdL - click to readYou are somehow correct with your judgement that its been a while since Sony made a better phone than Samsung but remember the era back in early 2000's up until 2010? Walkman phones killed Samsung's trying hard music phones back those days and there were only Sony Ericsson and Nokia in the competition followed by Samsung and Moto and face the truth, Sony is more reliable in all aspects. Sony is the father of all electronic devices and maybe only followed by Samsung and LG. I prefer Sony's materials on their phones. The only thing that lacked before was the Quad Core thing and Sony released their Xperia S a bit late but when it got released, it was better than the S2! Dual Core devices with A9 architectures can not outperform the Xperia S and I bet that this monster can not be beaten by those Quad Cores easily like the Note 2 and S3. We haven't gotten a chance to see the S4 so you can't have it judged as early as now. This phone will be optimized by Sony so I bet this will kill the companies that use Snapdragon's chipsets like HTC and LG. ;-)
