Don't be silly. If this phone could actually replace even a 5 mega pixel stand-alone camera, then Sony is killing off its profits.
Waste of time in this respect. Too much marketing ('marketing = trying to sell you rubbish with technical jargon')!

Wow... i can say this phone has impressive camera... look at the image quality and the xenon flash quality

no man dude who cares about vga recording, we need bigger screen.......the shake walkman had 2.4 inch which means the next step is 2.6 or even 2.8 plus man the phone is thick man.....

Lack of VGA video is a massive let down, why? I have an N95 8G and have found it good enough quality for recording sports, family events etc. I was initially excited by the C905 and now see it has being too little too late. WiFi is not important, I use the HSDPA on my N95 way way more - and it works everywhere. (If it is proven the C905 does record VGA video then someone at GSM Arena please remove this post as I don't wish to harm SE.)

If u r looking for camera then go for leading brands like Canon / Nikon / Olympus etc which gives superior result with far less price for 8 to 10 MP.

i love sony, so dont acuse me of being a fanboy, HOWEVER i think sony should stay out of the phone market, leave it to the professionals. I think the 8mpx is a gimmick, its not the number of mpx which makes a good picture, its other factors such as the lens and sensor. It enters the digital camera realm now and it wont be able to compete.

There's tons of features in this phone that worth buying. QVGA video? So What! It's not like you want to buy a phone just because you wanted to record videos. You better get a handycam than a phone!
This C905 is the reason why you must Try SE.
8MP is Bad? Why don't you check the latest photos capture by this Phone? See it for yourself!
N95... no even N96 is no match against this phone

Yea man they sure shut you up, i knew it how could SE have finally put VGA just like that with out a word on the facts....i mean look how much the wifi was highlighted.....your a pure se fan, man just cause its a 8mp doesn't mean it can do everything.......man it makes me laugh......carp quality for 8mp and N95 is still better.....even thinner.....

The 8mega-pixel phone looks a good mobile indeed but the others do not seem to impress me or a few others,Sony Ericsson got more bothered about impressing the Hong Kong or Chineses sales an drop of about producing top class or very good mid-range mobiles for Europeean Market an one thing they are getting worse at is reliability with there mobiles an are not so long lasting now days,i am sure now the others will follow the trend an release more 8 mega-pixel camera mobiles to put pressure on this taking the lead
