huawei is being investigated for spying by the chn govt in US and Canada. they are funded by the communist govt of china. makes you wonder if they are using cell phones to do the same.

Great ethical move by Huawei and ZTE against the immoral profiteers. Oh, don't worry, Iranians will get to buy it as well.

Unfortunately both Huawei and ZTE have both been accused of selling prohibited computer equipment (HP) to the Iranian government in violation of UN Sanctions. Love the product but hate the ethics. Steer Clear of both companies and stick with Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola and even fruity Apple.

I must say Huawei is coming in hard into the mobile market with super devices like the Ascend P1(I love this device). I myself am a big Samsung fan, but I cant help but notice that Huawei is doing a great job at a reasonable price. I own a Huawei Ascend P1 and lots of Samsung devices, I'm looking forward to the launch of both these devices in South Africa(Huawei Ascend mate and D2). the D2 is a masterpiece with the only disappointing being the lack of external sd card, but with that storage space, ppi, camera plus slim design, It will be hard to say No. and the mate is classy, I say bigger is better. I love technology, am in IT and Samsung plus Huawei make me love it even more. try Huawei b4 u judge it, it is powerful.

If they want this phone to sell like pancakes and overtake Samsung and Apple, they need to sell this phone no higher than $400.

So no, they won't be stuck with 4 inch screen, and what is wrong with a 4 inch screen?
