4.8 is uncomfortable one handed sometimes. 5.2 is pushing the limits. 6.1 is stupid. put this to your face and talk and people start laughing at you.

Does this trend mean that we will need an extra cell phone carrying bag in the next couple of years?

I agree to those one, who told - no memory card - no phone. Before today, when I've seen info about card slot, I've been thinking about Huawei Ascend D2. Everything was great for me, but when I've seen info - no memory card - it killed me. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN - NO MEMORY CARD, in flagship model. I would't buy any phone without memory card.
So Samsung Galaxy Note II - it would be great.

2013 will see 5" as the standard size for premium phones.... (sorry apple users who will be stuck with 4")

If you don't want a big phone/tablet DON'T BUY IT.
I remember everyone bagging the Note... the Note 2 is now one of the best devices available and has massive demand.
Remember that this phone is only 2.7mm wider than the original note and 12mm longer than the current note 2.

> In reply to Umbilical Noose @ 2013-01-08 00:00 from utr7 - click to readi understand that too but they know there is a limit, if you look back ion the day when htc came out with the shift they tested the waters with a 7" display data transfer only but if they were selling they woud make it gsm capable but it didnt sell due to the size, i believe that cellphonwes would never hit 7" it wouyld top out at 6.5 .. if phones get so big that shaqulle o'neal (former NBA basketball payer) BEAR PAWS cant only itwith one hand THEN theres a problem, but for now screen sizes are at the best right now

Phone.
Phone.
What part of "phone" did you miss? You can't replace a phone of any screen size with a tablet because tablets don't make standard voice calls (unless they're the Galaxy Note 10.1).
Really?
