Samsung expects to record best ever profits in Q4 of 2012 - read the full textSamsung's accountants are still crunching the numbers for the final quarter of 2012, but the company does have a prediction - it will break its previous record in profits. Good job Sam's. Unfortunately 2013 it's too hard Sony, HTC, LG, upcoming nexus x and iphone 6 etc... lot of competitor around plus quad core and 2 gig of ram not big of deal any more even Alcatel latest android phone has A quad core and 2 gig of ram! Sam you need to invent something new and pls stop load your galaxy's phone with tons of feature that not even usable and kills the ram and battery life.

continue to make great quality, innovative, products and you can have some of my money, nothing wrong with that. at least they are not super greedy like apple or like chinese companies who don't care about copyrights.

A toast to Samsung for the well deserved success!! S3 and Note2 are two fine examples of beautiful, convergent devices. My best wishes for 2013 and hope to see things get better!

LOl Samsung also said they sold 30 million smart phones in October when in fact it was 30 million shipped to distributors rather then right to the hands of a customer. Over exaggerating numbers is Samsung's way of flexing their muscle.

I guess they need to brag about something. With Apple being able to complain about how they can't keep up with ip5 demands, Samsung needs to make media news. Might as well annuounce they might set record profits. Props to their marketing team. Make a cheap ass phone in the s3, put it in the same sentence as a iphone, and bam! People think it competes against the iphone and the greatest thing. Love the sudden issues of the s3. Keep up the good work producing plastic phones for the world Samsung. woooooo

No surprise there then.Samsung continue to innovate and give the public what they want and cater for every pocket.Had a gs2,gs3,note1,and now on the note2 and can understand why samsung have sold so many.As long as samsung keep raising the bar people will buy.Something nokia need to learn and should stop messing around with the dead os winflop mobile 8.

I own a note 1 and love it to bits. If were destroyed I would not hesitate to get a NOTE 2. I can not understance why no one is competing with Samsung in this segment. In my opinion the NOTE concept is sufficiently different to the Galaxy S line.

I am very eager to see what the NOTE 3 will be like. If there is nothing better then and the NOTE 3 is good then I will go for it.

Well done Samsung you have released some great products. HTC and others need to wake-up

I didn't contribute to it directly (probably internal components I did). Don't think I will buy any samsung-brand products now and future
