Im just highlighting the different of the spen with a typical touch pen for people who might not know.

But pen aside, IMO Z is really a well designed phone, with good button / camera placement, but people might not like the dust covers (required for water/dust resistance).. Gonna try it out once it reach my country!

well I think it is not Note v/s Xperia Z, it is about options and alternatives, I cannot choose a phone for somebady and vice versa, I would prefer Xperia, but surely that is not going to be everyone's choice. What Z has done is that, it has given us more high end options to choose from. Simple as that.

But I don't know why Sony is discontinuing FloatingTouch technology, kinda disappointing. Anyway, cool to hear about hovering from other manufacturer. Waiting for the trend...

The one u buy normally outside is a capacitive touch pen.. its like touching with ur fingers..

The one provided by note is different.. the screen reacts even before the pen touch the surface (floating effect).. there is a sensor below the screen that detects it.

Thats why the hype about spen

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-08 16:22 from Ui}x - click to readI have the an old Sony-ericsson, and i bought a stylus/pen for it. Most touchscreen mobile supports stylus/pen and it only cost about 4.25 USD. So is it a big deal? You can even use stylus for S2, for Arc, for nokia touch screen phones. Please find some deeper competence for your brand. Xperia Z will kill samsung S3. S4? no, it will be the tombstone for samsung.

a guy posted about the updates and he is right..i dont know how is gonna be with this new line but till today, they take tooooo lonnggg to update their devices, or dont update at all, i mean, android os...its not suposed to be an easy work, adapting the changes of the updated android to their own system, but some companies get this job done in a short time..one more thing, the white xperia z one, should have been like the xperia zl, with the front in white as well, not black and white...just a humble opinion...the black and white phone that is very cool, IN MY OPINION, is the htc butterfly. Anyway, very good looking phone.

I guess in cases of accidents ur pen will save the phone. Does that stylus pen ur referring to puts hdr on the camera as well?? How about the camera pixels? Does the stylus turn the camera into a 13mp.camers too? Am guessing the stylus is better than BRAVIA 2 also. Can't wait to see this magic stylus
