This new processor Samsung has announced is based on ARM A15. Almost twice the performance but almost twice less battery consumption! The phone made by Sony is yet again, going to look out-dated beside next phones by Samsung and HTC with A15 processors. They just can't keep up with processors.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-10 04:50 from PGXj - click to readLOL. The only thing it does is turn them off when in STANDBY. So when you don't need them when the SCREEN IS ON, you still have to turn them off individually when not in use. And SERIOUSLY, pressing a toggle in the notification bar wouldn't take away 2 seconds of your life for f0(k'$ sake! You are too melodramatic! LOL.
And you are not required a third party app to turn them off. Most launchers have the option to turn them all f0(king off right in the notification bar. It also has nothing to do with multi-tasking. Gosh! You need to practice your brain! Go and solve some sudoku puzzles. If there is an OS that needs to work on their multi-tasking, it's iOS!
The ability to tweak things with an Android device is not a weakness. It is a strength!

Plastic is not an invention its a material.
Your Nokia can't even make a thing for their phones they import them from Foxccon like Sony.
And BTW Sony and Nokia plastic is much cheaper than Samsung.

It's not about the specs but optimizations or tuning for car racing erms. It's like car race, a car with V8 engine could easily outrun by a V6 car with perfectly tuned!

People who talk about poor battery life with big little are absolutely dumb and are just here to bash samsung. Cant you people understand the fact that only any one of the quad core will be active simultaneously? Idling with A7 cores will give us an amazing battery life.

Covering Android's lags by number of cores from the chip?
That's sad! Hey Sammy please learn how to optimize OS just like HTC & SONY did!
Please hire a designer as well, as your Galaxies' designs are cheap and somewhat copycat!
And last but not the least, screen saturation is the most dealbreaker for most people to go their money on Sammy's Galaxies.
Lets' see a race (benchmark) between SIV & i5S later this year.
