I hope this is the beginning of Samsung making smaller and more compact smart-phones. I want to update to a new phone from my crap Galaxy S1, but I think the Galaxy S3 is getting too big. What's even more worrying is they want to make the the S4 even bigger! This is ridiculous. I want a phone that fits in my top pocket. I don't want a phone the size of a tablet. I am an Android man, but if Apple come out with a better version of the I-phone 5 with a longer battery life, then I will be sadly saying goodbye to Samsung.

Where were you when we see news about new Samsung firmware updates for any phones/tables almost monthly? Or where were you when Samsung did announce why SGS1 won't get ICS update about 1 year ago?

Please let people say interesting comments instead.

> In reply to [deleted post]I will choose performance over beauty. I'm using Xperia S coz its beautiful design. But,it hangs a lot, even u play music and open a browser. It hangs like crazy. I used GSII, but it will not even hang if I open many apps. My next device should be Samsung.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-10 04:50 from PGXj - click to readFor any phone running any OS and for years, you always have to switch off 3G/Wifi/GPS in order to save battery. It's not some new problem due to android only but at least it now exists apps to automate those actions (on Android btw)...

Samsung is doing a great job in performance department, i can remember people over here laughing at first Galaxy S being 1ghz for Android, i was explaining uselessly for 720p recording+watching, then dual core: 1080p, quad core: high quality multitasking (many ppl don't even know that we can play a game + watch a 1080p movie + talking on speaker simultaneously on a S3). I wonder what the S4 will feature (like 4K recording/viewing?).

I made a friend buying a Sony Xperia T, the phone is good but seriously guys, you are doing too much fuss about "Sony's design". Frankly to me it almost looked like a S2 at first then i finally dislike its curved back with monolithic front. I won't comment about the rest.

whoah, I thought 4 core and 1080p display would be the climax, then again I was wrong :D

Will this mobile trend continue with 16 core and above? as in desktop, processor core race stop at 8 core.

I wonder if in near future we'll using phone with Cell processor that have 9 processing core. ^^

Sony have the best designs and built quality but it lacks so much at feathers and performance. Users don't go for the beauty as much as they go for the performance and feathers. And am not saying that, Galaxy smart phone sales told the whole story.

> In reply to yajia1 @ 2013-01-10 04:25 from t7Xr - click to readWe "should" be given higher level control over our applications!

I want to spend time with family and friends .. not tweaking a phone endlessly or toggling 3g/wifi/gps to save battery.. all these should be handled transparently by the OS!

Sony's stamina is a first step in the correct direction of giving us high level control.. most of us just want that.. not sumthing like juicedefender .. tweaking for geeks.. and the fact that third party apps like juicedefender is required.. means android need more work to be done on its multitasking ..

> In reply to [deleted post]If every one have your perspective of buying a phone then sony have been the best smartphone seller out there but it not so what u trying to prove is funny. What you prefers is not prefers by the most users but what Samsung prefers is prefers by the most smart phone users.

Most users prefers performance over beauty. That why no one buys sony.

And also I'm not sure how many ppl find sharp edged rectangular slabs to be an epitome of "beauty"! The Xperia Z looks pretty indistinct from the army of near identical droids out there! Samsung are actually gonna bring out flexible Youm display phones in the near future, which WILL have a distinctly different look n form factor from most phones out there!

No one gona buy outdated sony xperia z. And that time sony will again announce his new flagship With bulky UI and not new feathers and will dump thier 6month old flagship by them. Sony annunced a flagship every 6 month but no one buys that and samsung annunced jst 1 in a year Galaxy s. Samsung is something. U r jst stupid and don't know about phones and performance. Samsung is the best Android vendor to date. Millions of people are not stupid who buy galaxy devices.
