very surprissing for me....i,never bought a nokia phone because of its symbian but suggested other people to buy nokia phone. why ? for their build quality , for their service after purchase, their easily availiblity of parts. why suggested other people to buy nokia symbian phone? a/c to source only 20 % of smartphone users get online and rest 80% of smartphone users never get conectedwith internet...wonder why they need smartphone.

> In reply to yajia1 @ 2013-01-10 16:58 from t7Xr - click to readBut most people would not. Look at Lumia 920, what is that thing? More than 180 gram, its thick and huge, got extreme bezel size, and in this big heavy package all we find is a 4.5inch display and a ridiculous 2000 mah battery. Theres no engineering art here, no innovation, pure plastic and the design is already old from N9.

Look at what Sony squeezed into a ssame width and much slimmer package, longer but less than 8mm thick, you will find shatterproof tempered glass all around and a fiber glass polyamide frame, AND its waterproof and has a great camera. Lets dip the 920 for a while and see what good the OIS is now.

I want to see high tech materials in a Nokia very soon, even Samsung is using super materials, like a magnesium bracket, in Note 2 for example, LOOK what samsung fitted at the same weight and thinner profile, now to many people thats innovation. 5.5 inch, quadcore, 2GB, cardslot, a digitizer and even a pen for the digitizer is inside, and the battery has 55% more juice! FIFTYFIVE PERCENT! Now, imagine if nokia made the Note 2, it would look like a monster, it would be the biggest brick since Motorola Dynatac.

And the same goes for other Lumia models. Thick, heavy and tiny batteries. Please make a hightech flagship nokia, it takes more than an OIS to impress.

Loved the picture of the hand passing the rolls of cash..

Nokia is perhaps the finest example of failing to keep up with the trends, losing the upper hand, and then admitting it, and coming up with a new plan, and slowing succeeding with it.

As a long-time Nokia user (my first phone was a Nokia 3310 back in 2001) I'm genuinely happy for them.
