WP8 will become a great platform for apps. It is really good to see that people buy Nokia and invest in this amazing new platform.

Android is great for pirates and cheats there is really no profit for the developer or the legal paying customer and in the end it will simply perish.

I see Nokia share prices are up 19% today. Hopefully we can get a third phone manufacturer to challenge Apple and Samsung.

That said I don't think any device will tempt me to leave my Note 2 any time soon. :-)

And its ok, the real winners are us, the consumers, in a way I want RIM makes profit too.....

Windows Phone 8 + Lumia are like crack. It's hard to go back to any platform after you tried it, whether it be Android or iOS.

> In reply to [deleted post]before buying s3, try reading GSM arena article on "Sudden death" issue. Also on all official android websites, trying out what poor guys say...that their phones die suddenly, in a night. Also read the below article, where there are vague, fake pseudo windows users who have commented and still couldnt stop 4.4 million phones and counting to be sold. And this is the same guy who told 24 hours before that only 5 phones were sold. Welcome to the club!

First of all, you dont own a lumia 820. If you wanted a second phone...you wouldnt have gone for a lumia...being a satisfied android user. Wouldnt you gone for a cheaper Android or a non android samsung? "I dont like what MS says, that you use this you use that"....ridculous words...IOS and WP7.5,8 are know for their fluidity and their simplicity. You say you customize your phone... for what?... which use? other than arranging cartoons...i mean icons...here and there and having a wallpaper. A kid likes colorful pictures, wallpapers and cartoons. A power user wants performance and utility. how much apps have you installed 1000 or what? 4.4 million users one after the other were satisfied with the quality of current and growing available apps. Now get a life and out, if you still have ideas of trolling!

NEVER trust on Nokia numbers. Nokia is cheating the market with fake information. Remember fake camera lumia video that it was made with a professional expensive camera instead of phone camera. According to my informer, who work in Nokia, real sales are 2.2 Lumias. The other amount is carriers in stock quantities (presales) and nokia sending phones to their own subsidiaries (internal sales between countries). WP8 is the worst OS in the market. Just look the extremely low quality applications on the store. And with tiles which is for kids, instead of a real notification center. A waste of money Lumia and WP8. Wait your budget for new Samsung Galaxy S4 (8 cores). Thats top1 phone of 2013.

Let me sort this out once and for all.
I own a Galaxy S3, which is my main phone. I needed a second phone so that my suppliers could contact me without getting the engaged signal all the time. I chose a Nokia 820 - that was where I went wrong. Yes, I like Android. I can customise the phone to look and work the way I like. If I want to change the keyboard I can. The same goes for the Messaging app, the GUI, and just about anything else. I can't do that with the 820 - why not? Because MS say 'You will use what we give you and like it'. THAT is what I don't like about the 820.
End of story - you are starting to bore me now.
