the xperia z owns xperia zl by a longshot. the zl is just a watered down, loser version of the nice sleek xperia z. and canada could beat you any day.

sony xperia z is much better tha xperia zl in terms of battery life...im upgrading my phone sooner i can to xperia z...thanks sony for the amazing battery,,but not quiet satisfied,,please sony,,make the battery life to 20hrs talk time,,,standby time to 33days..that would be amazzing...and be charge by portable perpetual motion machine..good luck,,please make it.,sony,,please...

5 inches and its smaller and better looking than the 4.5 lumia. Sony should had skipped Z altogether and make ZL her flagship

Finally Sony has come out with a real flagship product Xperia Z. I wish if they can shift the "Sony" to the back of the phone then it would be perfect!

In other hand, theXperia ZL looks "inferior" due to the poor design of removal back cover. Sony should not have launched this model!

In countries where consumer rights stand strong even 2 year contracts are ilegal. In Norway for example, it was decided years and years ago that its unreasonable to force people into contracts longer than one year as that will stop people from having up to date devices. Another thing is that most phones on contract are SIM free in Norway.

12 months contract is already a bit stiff for me, i prefer to pay my phones in cash and off contract, and NEVER with sim lock. I can upgrade when ever i want to, i will get Xperia Z in March, if i was a contract slave i would have to live with the Note 2 untill september 2014, not very tempting is it? It totally fails to be exiting if i wrote "i will buy a Xperia Z in September 2014, yehey im so exited..."

Why does Canada have 3 year contracts not 2 year, like all other world? Why you can't buy unlocked phones (except iPhone) in Canada? Why Canada has mobile carrier oligopoly?

Lot of the people in Canada still paying for incoming calls and called ID. Amazing country :)

Hi now i'm using xperia arc s its very good phone & before it i had w995 its also very good phone. i like sony ericsson (sony) phones, i always uses sony , and Sony ZL will be my next phone, when it will launch in india i'll buy than.

My only down side on the xperia Z is that their no Usb on the go option. I use it almost every day to plug my portable HDD to watch movie on my 40" tv and samsung dungle.

ZL asap. With a little help it will get 1080p as easy as on the Z. Ofc if the main camera sensor is the same on both models, I hope it will be.
