sure... both models are heading to most parts of the world. the question is where will it originate, where is it assembled and which companies supplies its various components? if its from foxconn, i gues i'll wait 6 months more after its release before i get one of either because definitely the first batch will be full of defects. its going to be pretty much like what happened with iphone 5 hehehe!

Pround to be Canadian but i will stick to my S3 for atlest 2 year. Ex(X10, Still have my K850i, K790a user). Meaby in two year i will come back to Sony. Sony you where my favorite OEM but because of the horrible X10 i went to htc(Nexus 1, Htc mytouch4G than after Samsung(S3).

Good good, considering that the Z is a "me too" kind of phone therefore wholly uninteresting...

On the other hand the ZL represents a huge innovation as it's probably the first 5 incher that is compact enough to be handled almost exclusively with one hand, a *true* phone with almost tablet like capabilities on the side... Let's hope others will take a hint from Sony and give up these razor thin yet almost unusable phablets that they call phones...

as sonymobile.com lists UK won't get ZL, same goes to france , Belgium, Germany , Denmark , UAE,the Netherlands , Italy!Saudi Arabia will just get the Zl! Lebanon , Portugal , Malaysia, India , Singapore, Korea , Jordan , Japan, The United States Of america, Brazil AND Canada ( under other namings sometimes for the Japan) will get both the ZL and the Z as listed right now, Some regions may have sites related to their country by Local Sony Shops or certified Dealers sites'

Ya I agree with anonymous, we all Malaysia loves gadget than any country in global. I also decide to purchase the Sony Xperia Z once it launch in Malaysia, if. I waiting almost 3 years for great gadget of smartphone for such long time. Finally is Sony Xperia Z..the best ever smartphone in the world.

If you check www.sonymobile.com and change the country settings, you will find that in some countries both models are listed, in some countries only the Z

I think this is quite a reliable source on availability.
