But still, it's as good as it gets. In...

good job for the size of the phone. for me 4.0-4.3 inch is the best screen size for a phone and bigger than that is not ideal. hoping there will be a razr m/i hd screen =)

Cpu , screen size , gpu all these are bull shit. Those are only for stupid fan boys . Real life users dont care . The real selling point would be how much faster and better the device can do basic things than other devices (especially android) .

this phone was no selling points at all and the app store for it is going to be even crapper than wp and at least wps looks better than other which is good selling point for htc and nokia.......speaking of nokia they had selling points pureview and puremotion display with good looks and super sensitivity screen that works with gloves and staff and one of if not the best maps in world for free that works even offline with wifi or any kind of internet source bb got nothing at all that makes you wanna buy it is not that good looking like the iphone 5 or lumia 920 or even has s3...........

A 5 inch display would not sell volumes! It's a nich market at best but it is a market. I believe RIM will address that later in the year. I love what I see so far from RIM and I think it will rock! Love the software! Love the look! Go RIM!

I upgraded to a S3 in December and I do miss my Blackberry for the convenience and simplicity of making calls, scrolling the message log list, and simply typing the letters for the name of contacts to bring up their numbers to call. The S3 has a lot of features, bells and whistles, but I do find the BB more simplistic and efficient for sending/receiving calls and messages....You take fewer steps using the BB and its a plus especially when you have to make a lot of calls in a short time window. I find that when you terminate a call on the S3 it takes approx 4 seconds before you can make another call or go to another application etc.

Device looks sharp, and the OS looks like it took a lot of cues from the N9's Meego. I like it. Looking forward to seeing this device in person when it's released. I love Nokia but this device looks incredible.

Nice specs 2 gb ram for a dual core. And not a 5 inch there's a better chance to run as smooth as butter. For my opinion I dont care if it runs a dual core or quad core or how many cores as long as it runs smoothly and gives me a good performance. As I observe 5 inch screen needs atleast a quadcore and 2 gb ram and atleast a battery of 2000 minimum mah.

Wish all the best - BlackBerry.

Personal - screen size 4.2 is ok, but a better experience still need at least 4.5" screen.

OS wise, no comment, it was OK, not bad, at least better than previous Blackberry touch screen OS. But it still not really smooth enough in apps switching.

Actually I find it a bit shadow of Ubuntu. (or shall I said Ubuntu shadow it).

And besides, is it really complex? Or are you just trying to hate on the OS? Be mature and give respect where it's due.

> In reply to hippoZ @ 2013-01-15 23:14 from IVE7 - click to readThe reason behind the 4.2" display is for function. Its not hard to throw a big screen at it. Screen size is no measure of technology advancement. This size is a perfect combination of one handed use, and 2 handed use in both portrait and landscape. 5" screens are not usable with one hand.

Blackberry will be releasing a 5" model later in the year for people who want a big screen. I like smaller though, even 4.2" is pushing it though.

> In reply to [deleted post]the most important thing is how smooth, lag free and crash free an os performs. If it can perform well on a single core processor so be it. Why to waste processing power and increase production cost as well as device cost, just to sound cool. I am a 3D animator we dont even use quads on our desktop pc's until we have some heavy graphics work to perform. Why waste resources?
