Samsung is doing what Nokia did to become the number one phone seller : selling the same phones under different look and packaging. Unfortunately for Samsung Nokia now is launching new phones with always better specs in great numbers and obviously Samsung cannot cop with this speed. With LG coming up fast too, Samsung is going to have some problem, like Nokia did a few years ago and was loosing market share.

-Excelent build quality like high end phones.

-Superb menu response. The best I ever own. 3 times faster than Nokia 6500

That is OK for me. I own J700. I will buy J800 , 100%. The ratio price/quality will be excelent.

I thought the L700 was an excellent looker, but then I heard about its specs... What the hell is up with that screen resolution? Thats terrible!

Samsung - wrong direction. You have to go UP with the resolution.
Come on, you do it in Korea. WVGA is nothing new to you!!! You haven't release ONE handset yet in the GSM market that can sport even a VGA display.

Samsung uses 128x160 screen in L700 while Nokia 6300 with same steel body selling for years, costs less and sports 320x240 screen with 16 million colors! What Samsung are thinking?
