I don't know exactly the case but I have original I9100 purchased in September last month but I made sure on the box it says I9100 not I9100G.
So don't worry, you would also get update.

Goodbye Sammy,
I am tired of your bad support, updated my galaxy s2 with IceCream sandwich 8 months ago. It is full of bugs but no fix so far and have yo wait for JB and cross fingers to receive it before June 2013. i am tired Sammy. I already bought ipad 4 instead of your tablet, Sammy. Soon will change my galaxy s2. Sorry Sammy but i am very disappointed of your ZeRo support.

There's a reason why Samsung is number one
From all the tegra 2 devices
LG 2x Motorola Atrix, photon and Droid x2
Only the Samsung device got official ICS update
They've launched devices in every price category and yet they do take care to avoid making A mess
Despite the fact Samsung makes almost everything from display to antennas and processors
They don't mind outsourcing the "g" version of the s2 is the best example
