if the thickness can reduce by 1mm then it will be great. 9.8mm for 5" screen phone is a tad too thick

the phone does look nice like i really wanted the face bezel to be the same color as the back . so if white back it has white bezel or red back has red bezel , not just black :/ still nice phone but the bezel could be smaller and just make same color all over

come on, its not fair to think so. just take a look at voting rates of people about sony designs and compare them with samsung's. then you will understand which design is more preferable for people.
Sammy can only attract people with its ads, nothing else.

I hate rectangle phone,this phone is ugly and so comon ,come on people do u really find this amazing ,unbeleivable,I m waiting for s4

I really think Sony really did well in their strategy to make the Z which is their flagship with all the features plus the best design and making the ZL for those who are budget conscious but still will be able to enjoy much of the Z's features but a little less in anyway like the water and dust proof features for example. I wish Sony all the best this 2013 and in the next few years and decades! Hope you'd win back the crown from Samsung. Your walkman series have been the best phones back in the mid 2000's when Samsung was not able to keep up with your sales with their sucky music phones. Not to forget, your Cybershot series as well! I suddenly missed my k810i, w900i and w960i They were my best devices! ;)

Beat hyped exmos5 then s4 will be the tomb stone for samsung mobile. Not to mention iPhone5s will surely beat s4 to the mud.
