Apple are wealthier than Samsung because they charge huge profit margins on their devices. .. well over what any other manufacturer does.

Thats a very good number for a smart featurephone, 35 mill in one quarter, wow. Thats something for Nokia to consider, their smart featurephone series Asha is very much cheaper and sell so much less.

But then, the price is actually the same, since most iphone buyers buy on contract and pay like max $199, and the 4S is free on contract even in emerging markets now. Modern people dont care much about the total price, what matters is how much cash do they have to put down on day one. Still, the biggest reason is the ecosystem, you can get apps and angrybirds for Asha but not much more.

They may have shipped 35 million Iphone 5's but I dnt think atleast 20 Million were sold in the quarter...Plus Apple unlike earlier gives fake details becoz dere shipments are way lower than Other Manufactures such as the Big Daddy Samsung...!!! Samsung always says The Word 'SOLD' ...S3 has sold 40M units till now and S2 too..Amazing figures...Analysts Predict over 800 Million Smartphone Shipments in the year 2013 BY SAMSUNG...And thats just Smartphones...They have little phones and hw abut there Laptops, Chromebooks, Ultrabooks......and all there Home Appliances and I almost forgot they are the biggest TV Manufactures. ..OMG!! I belive they have shipped so many but How many they have actually sold? I have heard many people are really disappointed that the only innovation of iPhone 5 seem to be a smaller size and low weight. What means smaller size and lower weight of iPhone 5 vs Nokia Lumia 920's size? 1) Smaller screen 2) No HAAC (High Amplitude Audio Capture) microphones and so the quality of the audio with the videos is much worse 3) No Optical image stabilization 4) No NFC 5) No USB 6) No integrated wireless charging 7) Aluminium cover gets broken easier and it isn't so scratch resistant than a polycarbonate cover of Lumia 920 - polycarbonate is used also for example a bulletproof windows material 8) No pentaband LTE support
