I think ZTE is missing the point: their phones have great hardware specs, but their UI looks ufinished with those terrible looking apps they added instead of stock ones.

I have lost count of how many 5" smartphones coming in 2013. But that's a good thing because large screen lovers will have more choices.

it zucks again. as they always says they will compete but always fail. China Phone and company should make it more cheaper coz their enemies have that name reputation than their crappy device and systems

Nice touch, havin a PowerVR SGX533 found also on an iphone 4 or HTC Nexus One, pretty outdated though. however a low power CPU, u know, quad-core and stuff. it shouldve gone well on SunSpider benchmarkin.. not too powerful on gaming due to the ArmV7 architecture. but still a nice catch just to handle the HD display.

> In reply to Amirichi @ 2013-01-16 22:49 from vu}D - click to readcorrection: Much better. This is my first samsung and not the brand i wanted, but after some hands on testing i was convinced that Note 2 was and is the best phone you can buy now. Already 4 months since i bought it now, and i am even more convinced now that its the best.
I should add that HTC does not count for me, i had HTC before and the experience was only negative, HTC is truly the worst brand. Never again. HTC can launch 4k phone displays and i still know its garbage. Even Nokia is better. I rather change to iphone than buy HTC again, thats how bad my experience with HTC is. If samsung is Rolls Royce then there still is no car brand to respresent HTC, noone make that bad cars.

Tablets dont have S-pen, and they dont have slim side bezels (except the ipad mini, which is i Galaxy Note copy and not really a tablet). Note 2 is simply a bigger and better smartphone.

> In reply to max power @ 2013-01-16 22:17 from kQmB - click to readBut you also use the size of the display to separate them, doesnt it matter to you tha Lumia 920 with its tiny display is much bigger than SGS3??
And what would you have said a year ago, what would be a phablet for you in january 2012, AFTER NOTE 1 AND BEFORE SGS3? That time you didnt know about any 4.8 inch phones, right? A definition must follow a set of criterias, not day to day fashion. A car has 4 wheels every year, not only in 2013, right?

Not every phone that has a 5 inch screen or bigger is a phablet.. That's what Samsung calls the Note 2 because it can actually do stuff a Tablet can do, not to mention the S Pen. It's the best of both worlds every other device that has a screen bigger than 4.8 inches is just a huge phone..

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-01-16 22:09 from Kg{L - click to readI like to draw a line now. The Xperia ZL is not a phablet, but the Lumia 920 is a phablet. i do not yet know about Xperia Z, it is a tiny bit longer than Lumia 920 but its much slimmer and lighter and far less bulky, and is about the same width.
