HTC Butterfly hits stores in Russia, rest of Europe to follow soon - read the full textJust ten days after the HTC Butterfly hit Australian shores, now the 5", 1080p smartphone is finally making its way to Europe's stores, specifically those in Russia. I could honestly tell you all these. After been a long fan of htc, dna was my last phone to own from htc. The camera is a total disappointment. Picture that being taken in low light condition was all blurry and high in noise level. The sense, pretty much has been the same over time and 2 GB of ram and S4 pro Qualcomm processor make it no big deal at all. I was trying so hard to get 1 unit of dna out of U.S. After spent all the effort of getting it such: phone calls to verizon, time, money..i felt it's all went down to a drain. I sold it after a few days testing it. Now im eagerly awaited for Sony Xperia Z. Sure the camera department won't be a let down like htc does.

Another own goal by HTC, Sony has stolen their thunder with the Xperia Z/ZL. I would have considered this when it launched 4 months ago in Japan and the States but not now! Take my money Sony.....

Saying it has hit Australia is misleading.

It is grey imported, no carrier has the HTC Butterfly available.

HTC M7 is already the new flagship! Stupid HTC. Choose 1 name for your flagship & let it be the flagship for a while. It's called "name recognition".

As far as i know, HTC Butterfly lasts a day with moderate usage. Thats really fine.. Thank You HTC. I'm happy

HTC is not water and dust resistance! Xperia Z is.
design wise Xperia Z nails the butterfly big time! No one can deny the Sony is the king when it comes to design! Z battery is bigger ( for god sake, Sony been manufacturing cameras before HTC was born, Sony is making sensors for apple, Samsung, LG and more). Z got HDR mode.
HTC is making the same designs for years with minor changes, battery suck big time in HTC, sense is laggy. Enough said.

you must say, i prefer htc.
UI screen are just the matter of taste but specs can not perform differently to different people.

DESIGN IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE...REST GOES LIKE THIS:

Z OVER BUTTERFLY:
13MP SENSOR(that too with smaller aperture)
Bigger battery

Butterfly over Z:
Should I write or d people already using Sense knows it(now don't tell that sense lags or whatsoever just on the basis u have seen videos on youtube instead go in the store and check it and then tell what lags.My brothers S3 lags but my other brother Evo 3d doesn't lag here in INDIA)
Anyways coming to the point:
Better front CAM
DUAL AMPS(2.55V EACH compared to normal phones having output ranging b/w 0.5v-0.75v)

Just to remind both phones are IP57 certified
