bought X10 n then never look behind to buy sony since playing safe with samsung... sony r poor in bringing early updates coz by the time this phone will update to 4.2, key lime pie will be around the corner n looking at their previous record sony will further update to klp till end of this year... while S4 will ship with klp in Q2/2013 either may or june...
conclusion- xperia z cant beat S4
but this phone is amazing in looks n i love it for this...

I hope they fix the worst bugs in 4.1.2 before Z is launched. My Note 2 is not nearly as good now on 4.1.2 as it was on 4.1.1 and i dont think its samsung specific things that need work, but the android 4.1.2 base.

Sony's new phone naming convention seems to have some resemblance to Sony VAIO laptop names.

Xperia Z corresponding to Sony's top of the line VAIO Z series.
Xperia T to high-end VAIO T Series.
Xperia S to VAIO S Series.
Xperia E to cheap economical VAIO E series.

But, don't have any idea about other models.
It's just some coincidence or a strategy by Sony to streamline its products.
Whatever, SONY is doing great at present and I wish the company to be at the top again.
