Finally we have a price. Not the best, but what can we do? Some might have to wait a few months for the price to go down, LOL. End of the day - its not the end of the world! Heaps of other phones out there.

in canada, we have such a rubbish plan it's ridiculous. i was excited about it, but now i'm just so disappointed with what Rogers had to offer. so even if i could get the contract free Iphone, it's useless to me because i won't have a good enough data plan here in canada. (sad face)

I'll be switching over to AT&T once I purchase the HTC Touch Pro. Then I'll sign on and buy the iPhone 3G, and sell it.

Can someone tell me if i can buy this phone from the usa, uk or dubai and use it in my home country without unlocking it? I live in nairobi, kenya and here even the old iphone has been released and people are buying the phone from abroad and unlocking, and can someone also tell me what does unlocking actually mean? And what do they do to the phone in this case?

Who cares if you're first, get a life!!

I don't think the i-phone is the phone to have any longer on teh market. So many touchscreen handsets are pushing it aside
