LG should use 3D 5.0 1080p screen on this phone. I want 3D phone with higher pixel 1080p and bigger display.

Why do you guys keep comparing this phone to the s3?... Internal wise, dont you think that it will have in better specs than the s3, the s3 was released last year May, This phone is due to maybe release in March/April 2013, nearly a whole entire year after the s3, and still software feature wise the s3 is still dominant over alot of phone, this included. And samsung has yet to release any 2013 flagships, please guys, be realistic

For a fair comparison, i would pit this against the Sony Experia Z

> In reply to LG LIFE IS GOOD @ 2013-01-22 11:14 from t78M - click to readTo clarify: S3 has 51 hours on JB according to GSMArena, your statement of 43 hours for ICS is correct though.

My opinion:
Screen: a matter of preference as someone said before, I also prefer saturated colors over real, not interested in accuracy. Also prefer 4,8 over 4,7.
Build: Agree, OG is much better.
Performance: OG is better, but is natural since it launched several months after S3.
Camera: LG has problems in this department, LG cameras always lack some way or another, even with 13mp.
Front camera: 1.9 S3 vs 1.3 OG
Software: S3 has better software, Smart Stay, multi window, frequent updates. LG still have to prove they've changed and will give proper support to their phones. GN2 launched around the same time and already with JB, that might give us a clue.
Storage: OG doesn't have SD slot, so S3 wins.
RAM: OG wins, 2gb vs 1gb
Graphics: OG wins (Adreno 320 > Mali 400)

Personal conclusion: It depends on every person what they prefer, since to me S3 wins on some places I'm interested, but could be irrelevant to others. I mostly watch videos on my phone so I prefer AMOLED over LCD (matter of taste), and don't play games so extra GPU/CPU Speed doesn't make a difference to me.
For the same reason, to me is important the video playback time, which is 10 hours on S3 (ICS) vs 7:13 hours on the LG (ICS).
On the other hand, you may not give a shit about video playback, which suports the idea of personal preference.

I think the biggest drawback in smartphones is the battery life at present. For LG to be able to add a larger battery will win it back some fans for the power hungry apps and screen. Considering also that models like HTC's butterfly J effort was a measly sized battery.

This is shaping up to be a good battle of best of the rest what with the Sony Experia Z and this LG.

The REAL heavyweights will fight it out when the SGSIV and iPhone5 drop though. That's what the whole industry and most consumers are wetting their pants about.

I'm sorry to say this LG fans but the front looks like the Samsung Galaxy s2 HD while the back looks like the Meizu MX2. Don't be mad guys, i use an Optimus LTE 2 and it's a beast even in today's standards
