Seeing that the windows 8 smartphones were only really available from December 2012 i am not surprised that they have not seen market share improve a lot yet, once they have a few windows 8 devices out there where people can actually buy them they will sell, it is a totally new OS and on the best phones in the world the Nokia, which is arguably better than any iphones released so far, no problems with breaking screens from drops onto a carpeted floor or paint just chipping of or being rubbed off in transit.
I suspect that Windows8 phones will challenge for the second spot this year and possibly challenge Android for the top spot in 2014 or 2015. Android is just such a good OS and people are used to it now. Iphone build quality has dropped dramatically with the iphone 5 release and i am positive that sales will drop in the iphone range.

Also, based on comments numbers WP articles get lots of attention, so it makes sense to give people what they are interested in.

So RIM sells better and almost no one talks about it. Still almost half of the articles on GSMArena are about WP. I wonder why?

Also, from the call history, click the call for the number you wish to save, and at the bottom of the screen above the windows button is a little symbol that looks like a floppy disk, press that to save it. Will load up a list of current contacts to add the number to, or you can add a new one.

I'm a lumia 920 user and i love the phone but wp is lacking in a lot of ways, if only MS will act like BB is and invest money to make a usable pdf reader, working clocktile, some basic functions like adding numbers to your contacts from your call history and so on. I sort of get the feeling Windows-mobile could do more than wp8. Maybe its just me.
