damn :'( the best mobileOS has came to an end. it's just not fair, i know i'm part of a minority here and i also know that in the last few years true innovation and optimization (symbianOS) was not the choice of many smartphone users brainwashed by apple and android with their apps. i dont want a restrictive os,i dont want a laggy os that cant run proper on pc like specs,i dont want sealed battery as for WP i wouldn't ever use it unless my life depends on it. i hope wp will soon follow symbian into the grave. symbian will always be the king :(

great goodbye to the king!
It was the father of a revolution called "smartphone"!
Fantastic job on the os.the thing has to abide by time, and so it is in its place,it deserves.no more humiliations-if they were 2 come actually.

A wise man never curse even if the enemy is dead because beloved will also die one day... But I think there are some OS's made for people like you..
Go play games and watch clips on your garbage, and waste your time... what you know about productivity is apparent ... duhh..

S in S40 does not mean Symbian. S60 is a variant of Symbian OS. There was also Symbian UIQ and S90(i think).
