In fact it was something expected to happen , and i would like say that as mutch i loved Symbian os as mutch i hated Nokia , because nokia who killed symbian os and it didnt work on it real development , i agree with those who are saying that symbian is the base of smartphoe , i knew and learned " smartphone " word through Nokia symbian os ,

Actually the best Symbian S60v5 (touch screen) device did not come from Nokia but from Samsung, the Omnia HD I8910.

Yes even better than n97 since it featured a 3.7" AMOLED screen and vastly better 600MHz single core CPU and 256MB ram.

bye symbian OS. Nokia was, will and always number one here in the phil. From 3650,n70,n71 ,c5,x6,n8 to lumia proud to say that u truly are c0nnecting people. Symbian was the most popular os here where in fact, locals created community website exclusive for symbian user. As i heard this news, i switched directly to my 7yrs old n70 which is still damn in very good condition and currently writing this comment. King of multitasking, quality, service and OS. Symbian rocks

I'm still using Symbian Belle OS in my E6. People should know that Symbian is a great Operating System.
And for me, It's not so easy deciding between the Nokia 808 Pure View and the Lumia 920, because Nokia has always given us a great standar of quality with Symbian. And It's so likely that I'll get the 808 Pureview.
I'm really satisfied with my E6.
I want the people and specially Nokia know this: I'm happy with the Symbian Operating System.
I just want to say: Thank You Nokia for your great and beautiful phones. Whatever You decide, no matter which Operating System you'll use and develop, We'll be right there with You Nokia. I'm a Nokia Fan and I have planned to buy my new Nokia phone soon.
But,please, don't forget to include the great features You always had in your Symbian handsets.

Symbian powered my first 5-6 smart phones starting with the legendary 6120.

I have been moved on from Nokia for 5 years now but am ever thankful to symbian.

It's the natural thing to happen to Symbian OS , It was the best OS in the Past ,but now it can't Compete with Android or ios or even WP ,I respect that OS but I guess it's EXPIRED!
