Yea that's great, just let me know when Ubuntu's OS will be available to put on Nokia's latest phones and i'll be a Nokia fan sooner than later.

bad multitasking does, like the one microsoft does-

symbian could run 30+ apps with 256mb ram, and n900 even more with 256mb + swap

Sure the quarter on quarter sales are up slightly (4%) but this was the xmas period, the jump should have been a lot higher.

Really this is still a very average result for Nokia.

As the article states, Nokia is making money from their Siemens network. The mobile phone division is still in Freefall and Windows phones will not save it. I give them until the end of 2013 before they fold. Game Over, Should have fired that Elop before he ruined the company. Adios

Honestly, Nokia will never come back to the mobile play ground - There are Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Sony THEN ZTE, RIM, HTC that they need to jump over which is almost impossible !!! Being way for more than one year, it's very hard from them to find a place in this deadly competitive market ...

well "real- multi tasking" takes a great toll on the battery...
nd WP8 already has rest of the features u said....
